Its a good Owl week

Meet Oscar de owl pinned on pinterest but actually a property of DMC ( I took time searching the origin, and I found its free). Would also love  this cutie on my wish list. Whew! up and about as early as a humming bird, still  too much this and a little of that accomplished today. You can guess that my day is  a bit chaotic as it usually is but I'm getting more and more excited which is really good. Because I worked better in full speed when I know I have something new in the making. Spend the whole afternoon browsing new precious moments collection courtesy of a sister in our church who used to stitched a lot. Ideas and free patterns are raining all over me and I'm catching 'em all. If I didn't make a priority list I probably end up drowning.

I don't really like the color variations on her hair, so I will most likely change it when its nearly finished. I ran out of colors in this project so its going to be praying hands and Oscar the owl until next week. Plus my sew along kids collection got to be finished in time. Its an owly week :)

T.G.I.S

Thank God its sunday, my rest day and bonding time with friends or families which ever comes first. :) The weather changes from gloomy to warm and from warm to really warm but we do not have any right to complain, knowing somewhere else is not ok. I don't even want to say the word worst, but sometimes when we think its bad here in there, somewhere else in the world is literally and figuratively worst than ever. This week I have the arabic land on my prayer list, including Egypt. Normally I kept my wishes to myself but a small appeal to whoever might read this is not too much to ask. When one royal baby was about to be delivered, lots of people waited. When the king of all kings was born, only the believers was there to expect. Let us think of others even for a minute. Happy Sabbat Day !

Sew along week

Summer is really in full blast. Meaning there's a lot to do outside and time flew very fast without even realizing its the end of the week already. 'have sewn a lot this week while taking day breaks from cross stitching: I started concentrating on children's clothes. As I promised to my friend, I'll be focusing on this next year.

Praying hands for free

WIP's for today

Can't do much inside the house today, with 30 °C temp., I'd rather sit under a tree all day, just like in the old days.  My sewing project have got to wait until the heat surpass, I've heard it won't be long before a low pressure passes through. Glad that stitching under the shades at my backyard is cooler and fresh. Thanks to homespot internet connection, I can stitch some patterns from this site via pinterest.

Rest day - its national holiday and We have a new King

Not much done except eat a lot of grapes while watching tv after church. Why not? it is an extra ordinary National holiday today in our country. The crown prince has been crowned as the 7th king of Belgium. Although they are not as popular as the other royals in the world, I find it better that way. I hope that beginning today ends the field day of the gossip mongrel about his capacity to be a King.

I've pinned a lot of craft and sewing ideas this week. This adorable free pattern for cross stitch is definitely on my wish list. And  This cute little dress  for toddlers will be on my sewing table starting school year (september 2013). Ever since I discover pinterest, I have never stopped searching for new ideas and life is never the same since then. God has given me a wonderful gift of patience and creativity, and I thank HIM with all my heart. Its the best theraphy against home sickness and loneliness.

WIP for this week.

Well, it was a week full of surprises and loads of house keeping. Even if I am a SAHW still, I have un-expected domestic works. First thing is overhauling the whole living room due to the early delivery of my new leather salon. Sewing a lot of small repairs for a friend , sewing a summer dress for my friend and eventually for my niece. My biscurnu SAL is almost finish, which is because I was forced to stay in the backyard house coz I can't take the murky odor of the leather salon. I was lucky it was a very nice weather the whole week. Here's what I have been done this week:

Started today with my biscurnu SAL for my local stitch club. I haven't done any other small stitch than this. Im' too curious what it will look like when finished.

Home again

Back from France. No matter how far and how beautiful every holiday places in the world is, still there is no place like home. But it was nice to visit Disney Land once in our life or at least some other Kids park if possible. It brings back the child in us. Plus some beautiful photos of amazing and magical land to cherish in our old age. I had a few wild rides, but I shall not count it as a wonderful experience. :)

A short breakaway

All packed in, the car is already loaded just waiting for hubby while he waters the garden and we're set to go to a 5 day trip to a camping site in Pomeuse France. I'm so nervous and curious at the same time, what is there to find. Although,a trip to disneyland Paris is most probably the adventures of our life this year. A break from my self imposed house arrest is also needed. As much as I hate to leave my thread works, its the best excuse to have my eyes rest for a couple of days without cheating. All set says the boss. Got to go.
